Somerset U17s Show Spirit and Skill in Tough Clash Against Cornwall

There was no shortage of determination, teamwork, and passion on display as Somerset Rugby’s U17s took on Cornwall RFU over the weekend.

Despite the final score not going our way, the game was a showcase of the squad’s grit and growing cohesion. From the opening whistle, Somerset played with intensity, executing some sharp phases of play and demonstrating strong individual performances across the pitch.

The game offered a number of positives – from line breaks and defensive efforts to clever set-piece work – and it’s clear the team are developing well as a unit. Just as importantly, it provided some valuable lessons and areas for growth as the players continue their journey together.

With another fixture on the horizon, the squad are already looking ahead with determination and a clear focus on improvement. There’s no doubt this group has plenty more to offer.
