Giving players who want the opportunity an environment which is very special to play in with others and be the very best they can be whilst wearing the traditional “Hoops” of Somerset.
This team is selected by county selectors who invite players to attend training and development sessions, having been watched by them at the clubs they represent.
They are subsequently chosen to play in the “first team” that compete in the county championship.
Somerset Rugby are pleased to announce the Men’s coaching team for the 2024/2025 Bill Beaumont County Championships campaign. The team will be lead by Tony Hill, supported by Josh Caulfield and Yann Thomas working with the Forwards and James Williams working with the Backs.

Somerset Rugby’s Men’s matches will take place on 17/05/25 Home to Lancashire RFU and 24/05/25 away to Yorkshire.
