Following an intense and competitive Somerset Cup fixture against Wellington, Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Club received a special presentation from Somerset Rugby. As part of the ongoing support and recognition for clubs across the county, Bridgwater was presented with Tribute-branded match and training balls, a gesture symbolizing Somerset Rugby’s commitment to helping local clubs thrive.
The presentation, held after the game, celebrated Bridgwater’s contribution to the county’s rugby landscape and acknowledged their ongoing efforts in developing the game at all levels. The new Tribute balls will aid the club’s training and matchday preparations, helping players continue their progression throughout the season.
The Somerset Cup match itself was a hard-fought contest, with both Bridgwater and Wellington showcasing tremendous skill and determination. The presentation of the Tribute balls served as a fitting conclusion to an entertaining day of rugby, reinforcing the close-knit rugby community Somerset is known for.
Somerset Rugby is proud to support clubs like Bridgwater & Albion, and we look forward to seeing these balls put to good use on the training ground and in future matches. Congratulations to Bridgwater for their efforts in the Somerset Cup and best of luck for the rest of the season!
