At Somerset RFU we want to help create a safe environment for everyone to enjoy their rugby.
Details of the England Rugby regulations which help us to do this are:
Regulation 15 – Age Grade Rugby https://www.englandrugby.com/run/rules-governance/rfu-rules-and-regulations/regulation-15-age-grade-rugby
The priority is always for age grade players to play in their defined age/year group and occasional playing out of age grade is an exception. Regulation 15 will provide details about:
- Playing out of Age Grade
- Combining Out of Age Grade
- Age Grade Cluster arrangements

Useful Information
Volunteers, Coaches and First Aiders
- Will be recruited using safer recruitment guidance
- Will have a DBS (if they are in regulated activity)
- Will have completed e-learning in Headcase, Safeguarding and Tacklesafe

Tours out of / into union – DO need permission from Somerset RFU Constituent Body
